The promotion of women today

At Allianz, too, the proportion of women in management positions has risen to more than 25 percent in Germany, and more than 30 globally.

At the annual results press conference in February 2011, the Chairman of the Board of Management, Michael Diekmann, emphasized that promoting women is a clear business objective. After all, demographic trends and the increasing competition for qualified specialists mean that Allianz cannot, and does not want to, do without its existing female talents.

Allianz used this flyer to awaken women‘s interest in sales and is advertising Allianz‘s special further development program for women (2010).

Allianz has recognized that the company can only gain from promoting women, as well as fostering diversity in its workforce as a whole: in the era of globalization and in light of social developments, promoting diversity is the way forward.
